Catching Up!

Wahwahweewah its been a long time since i've done this . . . so go easy on me!

Well as you can imagine alot has happened in the last 7 months - oh my days i did let this slip didn't I!! I am sorry for those of you who have checked to see if i have updated this and been dissappointed.

I simply got behind after i injured my knee on May 7th and have only just plucked up the courage to get this boat back in the water so to speak.

I tore my ACL in my left knee whilst playing footie and had to have surgery to repair it and i am still in rehab for it - see above pic of me running just a few weeks ago - yes it takes that long!

My knee is doing really well now and amazingly i will be back playing again in a few months. So after being out of it for a good month or so i was back to work/ministry on crutches and back to living on my own after Jonathan and Melissa Bennett took care of me for the first 2 months - wow what great friends!

So having a gammy leg has been tough but i have still had an incredible summer and Autumn/Fall so far and i look forward to Christmas and the new year with great gusto.

Here's a few things i've been up to since April:

• I finished the Apprenticeship and have been employed full time as an Associate Youth Minister at the Church of the Holy Cross! http://www.holycross.net/
• I went on a 4 day Mens Hike in the North Carolina mountains
• I have been to see 21 films at the cinema!
• I have read 3 books - amazing for me!
• We had our Middle School retreat - Camp Bonnie Doone for 5 days in June and 40 students came and what a week we had!
• We ran The Noise throughout the summer - part service project part fun
• I scored 9 goals in 9 games for the Home Starz in my mens league!
• Our Holy Terrors Co-Ed team just won Div 3 in the league - i coached a bit :)
• My Lifegroup (student Bible Study) have gone through the whole of Daniel and nearly finished Matthew - we are growingeach week too!
• I celebrated July 4th for the first time!
• I have become a big Charleston Battery fan and saw the Charleston River Dogs (baseball) a few times.
• Tom Nixon and Isla came out to visit for 4 days which was so fun.
• Been to the Florida Keys for a weeks holiday with friends - very hot!
• I have been in pain watching the whole Spurs saga this season.
• I came back to the UK for a week and saw my whole family and got to go to Jane and Michaels wedding - wahoo!
• I have moved to the Isle of Palms from Daniel Island, beach 2 mins away :)
• I hosted an event called Mondo Weekend where 21 churches attending with their 11-14 year old students including 20+ from Holy Cross.
• I joined Facebook and lost a week as i got caught up on it!
• My english friend Joe got married out here to a lovely American girl
• I have just seen David Crowder in concert and next week its Thanksgiving!
