What a treat, a weekend away in a 'National Trust' style park where we stayed in wooden cottages on stilts to gain better views with veranders and fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms. It was a weekend for just our High Schoolers and where we continued to look at 'tough topics' such as poverty and social justice with the help of Jim Zaher the Youth Pastor of Christ Church. It was a very chilled weekend that gave lots of room to hanging out (below Hannah looking cute and I), playing games (See above for Philip in deep thought over his next move in Risk!) and walks in the sunshine. We even crammed in a visit back to Holy Cross to celebrate the Warner family and send them off, which was handled so incredibly, man i will miss them.
Overall it was a success and the cabins were ace as was the location, shame we didn't have all our HS gang but those who came really enjoyed themselves and we were challenged and built up as a community. David Childs led worship each day and night and he was so awesome at focusing the group and leading us that was a real highlight for me.
